DevOps Engineer with Public Sector Experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role in Brooklyn, NY, to support our state government client. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, hands-on experience with containerized environments, and a background working in public sector environments.
Must-Have Skills (Minimum 4 Years Each):
Scripting: Bash, Ksh, Perl, PowerShell, Ruby, with Python preferred
Operating Systems: UNIX (AIX & Solaris) provisioning, support & troubleshooting
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, OpenShift, ROSA, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform
Linux installation, configuration, and support
Cloud: AWS EC2 and ALB provisioning and support
Documentation: Experience with technical and user documentation
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices and processes
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience working in government/public sector environments
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
