Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation for distributed applications across WebSphere, Unix, Windows, and containerized platforms. The ideal candidate will drive automation across on-prem and cloud environments, mentor junior team members, and ensure compliance with industry best practices in quality, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop automation for build, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning
  • Enhance production stability, monitoring, and delivery efficiency
  • Administer DevOps tools and manage configurations, access, and changes
  • Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness across systems
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on large-scale deployments
  • Document standards, procedures, and provide training to teams
  • Support high-priority troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in DevOps within Agile environments
  • Strong scripting skills: Linux Shell, Python, Groovy
  • Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools: Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins (CloudBees), IBM UrbanCode Deploy
  • Proficient with infrastructure and automation tools: Ansible, Chef, Terraform
  • Familiarity with quality and security tools: SonarQube, Checkmarx, JUnit, Selenium, Perfecto
  • Experience with databases: Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Advanced Linux administration skills
  • Experience generating DevOps metrics and reports with PowerBI
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector preferred
