The primary tools skill set I am looking for are
- Responsible for providing L3 operational support for SDLC tools that include Bitbucket (GIT repository) and JFROG Artifactory
- Able to engage and work with production support partners for performing disaster recovery / failover activities
- Ability to converse in both technical and non-technical terms to both novice and more proficient system users.
- Flexible with time and be able to work on weekend for on-call coverage along with his peers on round-robin basis.
- Have 7+ years on doing production experience.
- Strong Unix skills
- Good understanding of CICD concepts.
Here are the must have skillset required
- Have hands on experience with Atlassian Bitbucket and Git repo management.
- Have hands on experience with JFROG’s Artifactory tool.
- Expertise in Unix system, scripting and knowledge on BASH, KSH
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Python is a plus
- Troubleshooting experience and determine root cause analysis
Nice to have skills
- Integration with other Atlassian products like JIRA
- Ansible Tower
Typical functions of L3 production support involves:
- Specialized subject matter expertise
- Provide in-depth problem analysis of application, system errors, and performance issues
- Proactive application stability analysis – investigate performance concerns, system errors, improve maintenance processes, automation, and resolution of open issues
- Ownership of problem root cause analysis and remediation
- Chronic issue investigation for critical application issues
- Lead proactive monitoring review and implementation
- Works with Engineering, App Dev, and/or Infrastructure teams to implement break fix changes, code updates, config changes, and product enhancements in production.
- Handles CTO level application management – business continuity, PTO/PTB, NPT, server patching coordination, vulnerabilities, access reviews, PCAT
- Deployment tasks for applications
- On call support for production releases
- Coordinate patching activities
- Execute Disaster recovery / ARC exercises
- ARM approvers, change managers and coordinators
