DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

• Supporting the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead follow the DevOps automation and best practices.
• Engaging in and improving the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Working on complex development, automation, and business process problems. 
• Increasing automation and tooling to reduce toil and manual intervention
• Monitoring CI pipelines for performance and resolve observed or reported issues.
• Implementing and maintaining version promotion of one or more applications within CI pipelines.
• Integrating CI pipelines with development tools for artifact management, software test, software quality assessment, etc.
• Implementing Continuous Delivery and execute automated or manual deployments of applications into orchestrated k8s environments.
• Implementing and managing the application SSL certificate in containerized systems.
• Applying VM patches and handling application traffic according to datacenter maintenance schedules.
• Executing checkout and troubleshooting of deployed applications within development and production environments.
• Executing software release processes including release branch creation, integration, checkout and test Responsible for Planning and execution of stories in Agile Development.
• Providing support to the team and helping in completion of stories for the sprint.
• Analyzing the ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
