DevOps Engineer

Application developed inhouse written in languages C++, Perl, Python, shell scripts, java, C#, KDB, angular and react which runs on a variety of platforms including Linux servers, containers, Kubernetes cluster and service farms.
We follow SDLC/devops principles and constantly evolving to strive to build more efficient and maintainable systems.
They are auditable, scalable, compliant of SDLC 3 principle.

This is a devops role within the department.
The main mandate is to manage the end-of-life software and hardware and security risk reported of our department.
There is exciting area in the tooling recently such as Sourcegraph and Moderne. Our team would be expected to make more and more use of such AI tooling.

We are looking for a junior person to work in our Montreal office who

• is a clear communicator – with the ability to clearly describe technical information to various stakeholders, including developers, production support, infrastructure engineers, document changes and share knowledge to the broader groups of developers. Report progress in a timely manner.
• is able to take initiative to expand his/her technical skills in an enterprise environment where there is a high demand to pick up new technologies and principles, architectural principles.
