Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building a modern and scalable CI/CD pipeline for our consumer applications .
  • Monitor systems to provide accurate, up-to-minute insight of systems status.
  • Administer local and remote Linux and Windows servers.
  • Monitor, alert and report enterprise-level infrastructure
  • Build and maintain virtual machine and physical servers.
  • Automate server and application deployments.
  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Produce detailed documentation related to infrastructure and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Unix based systems.
  • Expert Linux administration (Debian/Centos), including previous experience with LVM, iptables, permissions, networking, tuning, and clustering.
  • Expert at building and maintaining virtual platforms such as KVM/XEN/VMWARE.
  • Expert administration of AWS services such as EC2/Route53/S3/CloudWatch.
  • Team player with the ability to both articulate thoughts and opinions but also listen and compromise.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional and international environment.
  • Proficient scripting languages like Bash, Python, Ruby or similar.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps with strong Linux SysAdmin background.
  • Experience managing infrastructure with code (Terraform/Serverless).
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Prior work experience using scripting languages, configuration management tools and command execution frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud security (DevSecOps) is a bonus.
  • Previous experience in application monitoring tools.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
