Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the current DocStore platform in a proactive way.
  • Develop new features as requested by the business.
  • Ensure all (security) aspects of the DocStore platform are up-to-date and new technologies are explored.
  • Monitor system performance / behavior and take corrective actions if required.
  • Execute system tests and advise the project team during its release cycle.
  • Create a work breakdown as input for planning.

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge in: Java 8+, Spring 5+, JPA/Hibernate, REST, JBoss/Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, Linux.
  • Some knowledge of: HTML5, CSS, Angular 5+, Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with virtualized environments, SSL certificates, document management systems (e.g. Alfresco, Adobe CRX preferred).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter able to execute independently, with light supervision.
  • Cloud templating and automation tools for deploying and managing infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platform APIs and automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with an ability to summarize and translate between business and technical contexts.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of progressive experience with the required web tools, technologies, frameworks and architecture.
  • Significant experience designing and supporting production cloud environments.
  • Experienced developing collaboratively, including infrastructure as code.
  • Experienced with building CI/CD pipelines preferably with cloud native tools.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
