DevOps Engineer

Skills and Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience spanning multiple IT disciplines, including systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, integration.

Hands on experience building and maintaining public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred or willingness to take your non-AWS public cloud knowledge and upskill in AWS).

Skilled in provisioning resources using Infrastructure as a code (IaC).

Hands on experience in system level scripting using Bash and/or PowerShell.

Solid experience in handling CI/CD integrations with GitHub or equivalent (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, …) and deploying infrastructure and applications on public cloud.

Understanding of modern DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipeline processes.

Hands on experience with Docker containers.

Good Operating System level debugging skills.

Solid oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge
