DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer with Security as focus, and hands-on experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and Azure DevOps (ADO) to help drive our cloud-native DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using ADO, container orchestration with EKS, and infrastructure provisioning and automation across our AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

·      Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) for building, testing, and deploying containerized applications to EKS

·      Manage Kubernetes clusters in Amazon EKS, including deployment automation, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting

·      Create and manage Docker images, container registries, and Kubernetes manifests (Helm charts or Kustomize)

·      Implement observability and monitoring using Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or similar tools

·      Ensure infrastructure security using IAM, security groups, KMS, Secrets Manager, and network segmentation

·      Collaborate with development teams to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments through DevOps best practices

·      Manage configuration and secrets using Parameter Store, Secrets Manager, or HashiCorp Vault

·      Participate in incident response and conduct postmortems to drive improvements in availability and performance

·      Continuously evaluate and implement cost optimization and operational improvements

Required Qualifications:

·      3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability roles

·      Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, etc.)

·      Expertise with EKS and container orchestration using Kubernetes

·      Proven experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO) including pipelines, releases, variable groups, service connections, and integrations

·      Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

·      Experience with Docker and container-based development workflows

·      Familiarity with Git and Git branching strategies

·      Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Azure DevOps Administrator or AWS DevOps Engineer certification

·      Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD

·      Familiarity with service mesh and ingress controllers in Kubernetes

·      Experience working in regulated environments

·      Background with Blue/Green or Canary deployments
