DevOps Engineer

Job Description:-

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline

Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

Automate operational processes, including deployments, backups, and scaling

Ensure security best practices in AWS environments (IAM, VPC, security groups, etc.)

Collaborate with development teams to support software delivery and performance

Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with development and QA teams for resolution

Optimize cost and performance of AWS infrastructure

Stay up to date with AWS service changes and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on AWS

Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, etc.

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration

Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Datadog

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
