Devops Engineer

• Experience in production and infrastructure support

• Proficient in more than one vendor specific infrastructure technology – Juniper/Arista/Cisco

• Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met.

• Executes within a customer-centric environment.

• Strong communication skills - written and verbal.

• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python, or other object-oriented language like Ansible, Java, etc.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks

• Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.

• Experience working in a banking or technology type environment within a global organization.

• Expertise of networking fundamentals including - Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls.

• Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas:

               Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
                Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)

Design (compliance, security)

Network Engineering (planning, provision)

Executes against understanding of best practices and JPMC policies
