Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux system administration to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), cloud platforms, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes, improve system reliability, and deploy scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Manage Linux-based systems (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS) including scripting, package management, and system tuning
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
  • Manage source code repositories (e.g., Git) and branching strategies
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud is a plus)
  • Support containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS
  • Ensure system security through patching, hardening, and IAM policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across dev, staging, and production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support agile development cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Systems Engineer
  • Strong Linux Background
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) skills
  • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and load balancing
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Linux (RHCE, LPIC), AWS (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect), or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
  • Experience with Helm, Istio, or service mesh technologies
  • Exposure to Agile and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience in performance tuning and cost optimization in the cloud
