DevOps Developer

Job Description

· Hands-on experience with Port.io.

· Design, develop, and customize a Developer Portal using Port.io.

· Define and manage software catalog entities, blueprints, templates, and automations.

· Integrate with tools like GitHub, GitLab, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to understand workflows and create a seamless developer experience.

· Create and maintain documentation, dashboards, and self-service capabilities for internal teams.

· Implement role-based access, approval workflows, and audit logging using Port.io features.

· Monitor platform performance, ensure uptime, and troubleshoot issues.

· Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Proficient in YAML, Terraform, or scripting languages used in platform engineering.

· Experience integrating with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Slack, etc.

· Familiarity with software cataloging, blueprints, and scorecards in Port.io.

· Understanding of developer experience (DevEx) and internal developer platforms.

· Experience building portals using Backstage, Port.io, or similar platforms.

· Exposure to microservices architectures, cloud-native development, and platform-as-a-product thinking.

· Certifications in Kubernetes, Azure, or DevOps tools are a plus
