Our client has an open position for a Desktop Support Technician. The position will be located in Frankfort, KY, and Initially the candidate will be installing computers in Franklin and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide desktop support and troubleshoot software issues to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical problems promptly.
  • Utilize ServiceNow platform for ticket management and efficient workflow.
  • Apply computer skills to assist in network configurations and IT infrastructure maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality communication solutions.

Required Skill Sets:

  • 1-3 years of IT experience as a Desktop Support technician with experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware and software systems, providing general desktop support duties with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • well-versed in computer systems and be able to set up hardware, install and configure software and drivers.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Computer equipment configuration, setup, and installation.
  • Experience in ticketing software (preferably ServiceNow).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Hardware and software experience.
