Duties and Responsibilities:
The DPM is responsible for overseeing contract performance and ensuring all tasks are executed per the terms and conditions of the agreement. Key responsibilities include:
• Cross-Team Support & Coordination:
Works closely with the Security Team to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies, DoD regulations, and best practices for system security.
Supports the Operations Team in maintaining AFPIMS system availability, addressing technical issues, and implementing process improvements.
Coordinates with the Development Team to align project priorities, track software updates, and streamline the deployment of new features.
• Customer Engagement & Feedback Management:
Participates in planning sessions and gathers customer input on AFPIMS products and services.
Reports customer feedback to the PM for COR updates and recommends improvement strategies.
Reviews and analyzes feedback categorized as "dissatisfied" or "very dissatisfied," working with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans.
• Personnel & Resource Management:
Manages personnel and resources to ensure task completion and contract compliance.
Oversees staffing, training, and resource allocation to optimize team performance.
• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
Ensures deliverables align with Federal laws, DoD regulations, and DMA policies.
Develops and maintains documentation to support audits, security compliance, and operational reporting.
• Project Oversight & Process Improvement:
Leads project orientation, transition, and performance tracking initiatives.
Manages reporting, performance metrics, in-progress reviews, and financial analysis.
Provides a structured mechanism for users to suggest and implement improvements to AFPIMS enterprise web support.
• Meetings & Strategic Planning:
Participates in weekly or periodic planning sessions as designated by the PM in support of the DMA COR Team.
Collaborates with leadership to develop long-term strategies for program enhancement.
This role requires a proactive leader with strong project management skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a deep understanding of security, operations, and software development processes within an enterprise IT environment.
