Principal Accountabilities

As Deputy Manager you will:

Tech PMO/ Product Manager

  • Collaborating with department leaders (internal and external stakeholders) to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Project deliverables tracking including raising red flags/ early warning for the delays
  • Fortnightly/ monthly updates on key strategic projects to senior management
  • Define and monitor the metrics for the projects and ensure that the metrics targets are achieved during the project duration.
  • Understanding of various buyer’s journeys (backend and front-end functionality/ process) currently available on all digital platforms.
  • Formulate and propose strategies to streamline the buy journeys to ensure the seamless and efficient process.
  • Responsible for driving the development of journey and calculators by coordinating with all key stakeholders (IT, UAT, Sales, Ops, Legal, Compliance, others)
  • Create a comprehensive plan for enhancing the end user experience.
  • Implement the improvements by working closely with UI/UX designers and development team.
  • Building test cases and scenarios to ensure complete testing of the new features/ changes before go live.

Tech and Infra

  • Collaborate with the team to understand the tech requirements (servers (Azure, AWS), remote desktops). Create clear and comprehensive requirement gathering documentation, including the functional and technical specifications, use cases, process flow to propose the enhancements/new developments to IT development group.
  • Act as a SPOC for the function for addressing issues related to tech infra raised by the function’s members. 
  • Identify and report issues and plan and execute the interventions needed to mitigate the issues.

Education
Bachelor of Technology or Master of Business Administration

 


Work experience
2+ years of work experience as a product manager or experience in working in a startup in product management role

 


Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong experience working in IT projects
  • Good knowledge of product management
  • Knowledge of developing figma designs
  • Knowledge of APIs & integrations
  • Good analytical knowledge, ability to do quick data deep dive and provide insights to the business partners/Sr. Leaders
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong Communication & interpersonal skills and drive for success
  • Strong team management and project management skills
