We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with over 10+ years of professional expertise, specifically in managing large-scale projects for US banking clients. The ideal candidate will excel in overseeing a book of work, driving project delivery, and ensuring alignment with leadership-level commitments. This role focuses on data engineering and regulatory compliance projects, requiring a strong understanding of financial services and experience coordinating with cross-functional teams like TPMs, engineers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Book of Work Management:
Oversee and maintain the portfolio of active projects, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies across the portfolio to ensure successful delivery.
Project Delivery:
Drive end-to-end project execution, including triaging deliverables with TPMs, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of data engineering and regulatory compliance projects.
Track progress and align project milestones with leadership-level commitments.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact between the internal team and the client.
Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met.
Financial Management:
Perform FIT assessments to evaluate project feasibility, benefits, and alignment.
Track budgets, resource allocation, and time sheets for efficient cost management.
Operational Oversight:
Create and present monthly operating review (MOR) summaries for senior leadership.
Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project health, status, and risks.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory compliance requirements specific to the banking and financial services sector.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
10+ years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on data engineering and regulatory compliance in banking.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with data engineering processes, tools, and best practices.
Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks within the financial sector.
Leadership & Coordination:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
Communication:
Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engage with leadership and stakeholders at all levels.
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certifications.
Domain certifications related to financial services or regulatory compliance.
