Description

Qualifications: 

●      The candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in the Data Centre infrastructure system. 
●      The candidate should have a BSC degree in engineering or science. 
●      The candidate should have good experience in using the MS office and AutoCAD. 
●      The candidate should have good communication skills 


Key Responsibilities: 
●      Regular Data Centre systems Inspections for (UPS, cooling system, generator, technical room, electrical room, fire system, LV room, etc.) 
●      Sending Data Centre Notifications to DC clients (PPM announcement, permanent access update, Force Majeure, etc) 
●      Attending operational meetings with the internal stakeholder departments. 
●      Attending/supervising onsite for the major & critical works maintenance by the specialised vendor for DC during office, non-working hours, day-off & holidays. 
●      Assisting DC client’s enquiry through email, phone calls, even after working hours/day-off/holiday for their enquiry. 
●      Coordinating with the DC FM team 24/7 (daily/after working hours/holiday/day-off) 
●      Coordinating with DC FM team 24/7 during emergency periods such as receiving DC SMS alarms etc. 
●      Maintaining Data Centre drawing layout update after any new DC lease signed 
●      Updating DC Permanent Access Lists on a regular basis as and upon receiving the request. 
●      Preparation of cooling charges through DEWA Tariff website for the prospect upcoming DC clients 
●      Managing the design for special IT projects related to structure cabling and infrastructure network 
●      Updating the Data Centre policies & procedures for any changes 
●      Maintaining & updating the Data Centre critical spare parts list. 
●      Reviewing monthly data centre field service reports and giving recommendations to the line manager. 
●      Reviewing DC contracts and highlighting any changes to the line manager. 
●      IT Rooms regular inspections for DIFC buildings (lights, cleanliness, cable management, cooling system) 
●      Reviewing & processing all service desk requests submitted by DC clients/ DC FM/ISP provider (DU & ETC) such as PTA, PTW, PTARE 24x7 within the approved SLA. 
●      Monitoring the GSM signal for both ISPs and escalate any issues to the ISP to get them resolved ASAP. 
●       Preparing Monthly Cable Reports & submitting to the Leasing & Accounts Team after reviewing. 
●      Monthly KPI Reports submitted to Line Manager
