Database Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Database Developer to join our team. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases for various applications. You will also be responsible for data modelling, data migration, performance tuning, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop databases using SQL and PSQL programming languages.
Develop stored procedures to improve database performance and reduce the amount of code that needs to be written.
Design and implement data models using ER diagrams, data flow diagrams, and database schema diagrams.
Migrate data from one database to another or from one application to another.
Perform performance tuning of databases to ensure optimal performance.
Document the database design, schema, stored procedures, and other database-related activities.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and PSQL programming languages.
• Experience in developing stored procedures to improve database performance.
• Experience in data modelling techniques and tools such as ER diagrams, data flow diagrams, and database schema diagrams.
• Experience in migrating data from one database to another or from one application to another.
• Experience in performance tuning of databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Ability to document the database design, schema, stored procedures, and other database-related activities.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-9 years of experience in database development.
