Database Administrators

Basic Qualifications: 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master's). Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze, design, administer, and support databases and create and maintain SQL Servers. Install and configure SQL Servers and create high availability groups. Migrate databases to AWS cloud storage and develop operating system and disk and patch management configurations. Setup connection strings and connect SQL Server from SSMS. Migrate data and servers, perform capacity planning, and upgrade databases. Maintain database security and test threshold values and baselines. Monitor database performance, provide application support, and resolve connectivity issues. Design and develop SSIS packages and create, deploy, and managed SSRS reports.
