  • The Database Engineer will architect, develop, implement, and administer complex databases to support global business needs.
  • The role involves working independently under general guidelines and objectives, translating system specifications into database artifacts, and ensuring efficient database operations.
  • Experience: 9+ years of related database experience, typically acquired through a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Mandatory Skills: SQL Server, Always On, Replication, Partitioning, SSIS. Azure SQL MI instances.
  • Erwin Data Modeler, Web Portal. Data Replication Qlik Replicate. Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in instance, database, index, and SQL explain plan tuning.
  • Advanced modelling, schema design, scripting, and programming skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring and management tools.
  • Expertise in database best practices, methods, and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a teamwork focus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more scripting languages.
  • Secondary Skills: Customer service orientation with a sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail and good task management abilities.
  • Ability to streamline existing processes and create documentation for standards and procedures.
  • Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions.
  • Familiarity with data security best practices
