Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled MySQL Aurora Database Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our AWS Aurora MySQL database environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, security, and high availability setups. You will work closely with development, operations, and architecture teams to ensure the smooth operation of our database systems, meeting business requirements and maintaining system integrity

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS Aurora MySQL clusters.
• Strong knowledge of database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in AWS services related to Aurora (e.g., RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, Backup & Restore).
• Experience with high availability, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with database security best practices, including encryption and access control.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation tasks
