1 - 2 years of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services & Reporting Services experience.
Familiarity or willingness to learn to implement and support DB2 LUW.
Experience with SSRS report tuning, development, and deployment.
Experience with SSAS cube deployment.
Experience with database migrations to new SQL Server accounting for all objects associated with the database. Logins, jobs, SSIS packages, linked servers, credentials, proxies, etc.
Experience with administration, design, and implementation of Windows high availability clustering in relation to SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2019 or above.
Extensive experience working with Performance counters to interpret the health of a server.
Understanding of server-network and server-SAN interfaces.
Expertise with Windows PowerShell scripting to automate administrative functions.
Administration, patching, and install of SQL Server based on design requirements.
Expertise in configuration, modification, and security access topology for SQL Server.
Implementation experience with upgrading between SQL Server 2016 - SQL Server 2022.
Expertise and direct implementation experience in backup and restore methodologies and recoverability.
Expertise and direct implementation experience in disaster recovery methodologies (mirroring, log-shipping, replication, multi-site high availability groups).
Experience in architecture and design of SQL Server physical and virtual environments based on service level requirements.
Expertise and direct implementation experience in file group design, table partitioning, table and index compression, and determining data distribution cardinality.
Expertise and direct implementation experience in database tuning, monitoring, tracing, and maintenance of relational databases, warehouse databases, and VLDB environments.
Expert understanding of deadlock analysis, wait-type analysis, and blocking transactions.
Expert understanding of SQL development methodologies (stored procedures, triggers, UDTs, scalar and table value UDFs, views, cross-database query, linked-server, and sequences).
Strong understanding of relational OLTP database modeling.
