Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or a related field and five years’ experience as a database administrator or occupation in database administration or Master’s in Information Systems Management, Software Engineering or a related field and three years’ experience as a database administrator or occupation in database administration.
- Must possess five years with a Bachelor’s or three years with a Master’s in the following:
- Design and implementation of complex database architecture.
- Supporting requirements of large database applications and systems including performance analysis and tuning of high-volume transaction systems.
- Project management, systems analysis and design for secure web-based and database application development.
- Development of front-end applications on a Windows Platform using Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, CONM, or similar tools.
- Common enterprise technologies and techniques including caching, locking, fail over and encryption.
- Developing websites and web applications using open source tools, languages, libraries and current standards-compliant code.
- Prototyping web applications, designing and critiquing web user interfaces, with a focus on security, usability, and compliance.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing cloud services across various platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Azure including setting up virtual machines and storage solutions, configuring networking, VPN and security policies that ensure infrastructure meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Web development using HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, XSL, XSLT, Java Script and AJAX, PHP.
- Must have working knowledge of standards such as LDAP, HTTP, iCAL, and RSS.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency managing cloud services across various platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Azure and industry standards ensuring scalability and security requirements.
