Data Warehouse Developer/Analyst

• We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data warehouse solutions while ensuring high data quality, security, and performance. This role involves working closely with business SMEs, implementing ETL processes, troubleshooting data issues, and contributing to the long-term vision of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and metadata structures.
• Reverse engineer business processes, data streams, and source systems.
• Translate business needs into technical designs for BI solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Develop efficient ETL processes for timely data availability.
• Create and maintain documentation, best practices, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot and support SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and data warehouse tools.
• Implement and maintain data security best practices (HIPAA compliance).
• Establish and optimize release, testing, migration, and error-handling processes.
• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
• Data warehouse development (e.g., WhereScape).
• SQL Server ETL development (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Large data set manipulation and dimensional modeling.
• Data warehouse documentation, best practices, and governance.
• 2+ years of experience with Generative AI and Alteryx.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in health/life insurance, benefits, accounting, financials, or investments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA data and healthcare claims.
• Familiarity with Azure, ERP applications (PeopleSoft, Safyr), and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in data tools such as Alteryx, Visual Studio, MSSQL, and WhereScape.
• Experience troubleshooting SQL Server performance issues
