Snowflake migration QA lead
 

  • Should have 10+ years of experience in testing and Data Migration project (Cloudera-Hive to snowflake Migration)
  • Exposure on Cloudera (spark + scala) to Snowpark migration will be added advantage
  • Experience in Snowflake Testing is must with good in SQL writing exposure
  • Exposure in defining the overall test strategy approach for team and following test guidelines, strategy & preparing/sharing Test results/Defect reports on timely basis
  • Must have exposure in Planning and defining testing scope wrt migration, identifying the testing types, developing testing strategy , creating schedule, and finalising the test resources.
  • Provide leadership and directions to the team on quality standards and testing best practices
  • Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop test automation solutions.
  • Identifying test data per scenarios using complex queries and joins.
  • Ensuring that project deliverables are produced, including, but not limited to: quality assurance plans, test plans, testing priorities, status reports, user documentation, online help, etc. Managing and motivating teams to accomplish significant deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • Validating reports outputs .
  • Reconciling data between Hive and Snowflake
  • Data Migration testing
  • Should be able to work with different teams/vendors
  • Good Knowledge on Tools like JIRA/ALM/BIT Bucket/GIT
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Great attention to detail
  • Coordinates with various functions within the company and client organization and ensure timely delivery. Own the deliverable task until closure.
