Job Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Data Scientist/AI Architect to build and lead our AI practice. In
this role, you will take responsibility for delivering AI projects end-to-end, focusing on hands-on
development and deployment of models, including Computer Vision, Generative AI, and
traditional Machine Learning techniques. You will work closely with clients to take AI solutions
live, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.
This is a strategic and technical leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about AI
innovation, building AI practices, and transforming business challenges into practical AI
solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and lead the AI practice, creating a roadmap for AI/ML projects that align with
business goals.
· Architect, design, and implement AI/ML solutions using techniques such as computer
vision, generative AI, traditional machine learning, and deep learning.
· Take projects live, ensuring all aspects of AI development (from data pipelines to model
deployment) are production-ready and scalable.
· Develop, train, and deploy AI models in real-world environments, adhering to best
practices for model validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers,
and business analysts, to ensure AI solutions meet client needs.
· Conduct feasibility studies and AI assessments, providing actionable insights and
recommendations for clients.
· Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI and machine learning, including
advancements in GenAI, computer vision, and automation technologies.
· Establish best practices for AI project management, governance, and risk mitigation
("belt and braces" approach).
· Present technical concepts and project outcomes to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
· Proven experience (8+ years) as a Data Scientist or AI Architect, leading AI projects from
concept to production.
· Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision algorithms,
with hands-on experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
· Experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, diffusion models) and practical
knowledge of NLP and large language models.
· Proficiency in Python application development using Flask, FastAPI or DRF.
· Proficiency in ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, OpenCV), as well as cloud-based ML
services (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML).
· Proven track record of deploying AI models into production, integrating with larger
software ecosystems and scaling them for real-world use cases.
· Familiarity with MLOps best practices, including model lifecycle management,
monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
· Strong analytical skills and experience with data pre-processing, feature engineering,
and model evaluation techniques.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to both
technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with advanced Computer Vision techniques, such as object detection, image
segmentation, and video analytics.
· Experience with cloud infrastructure for AI workloads, containerization (Docker,
Kubernetes), and scalable distributed systems.
· Experience in building AI/ML practice, mentoring teams, and contributing to thought
leadership in the AI space.
· PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
