Data Scientist

Position responsibilities and essential duties

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
• Develop, test, and deploy predictive or classification models using machine learning algorithms.
• Analyze and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Understand the business opportunities and proactively recommend machine learning solutions and strategies to positively impact them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a data science or machine learning role.
• Strong technical skills in data science or machine learning libraries in Python/R, deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Tensorflow, and experience with data visualization tools or libraries for exploratory analysis purposes.
• Experience managing and leading related projects across multiple areas of the company.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• General understanding of LLMs and how they work.
• Knowledge of machine learning deployment and monitoring methodologies in cloud environments.
• Comfortable working in US shift or any other shifts as per business requirements.
