Data Scientist

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with 3-5 years of experience to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will excel in data visualization, analysis, and storytelling, leveraging tools like Power BI and Azure Databricks to drive data-driven decisions. You will play a critical role in transforming complex data into compelling narratives that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends that inform business strategy.
Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to present findings to stakeholders effectively.
Craft compelling data stories that communicate insights clearly and drive actionable outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.
Utilize Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics, optimizing workflows for efficiency.
Design and implement solutions for data lakes and data warehousing to support analytics initiatives.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to validate hypotheses and drive continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science, visualization, and storytelling.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, data analysis, or a related field.
Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, with a strong portfolio of visual storytelling.
Experience with Azure Databricks for data analytics and processing.
Solid understanding of data lakes and data warehousing concepts.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in FMCG Industry.
Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms.
