Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and tune customer risk models leveraging thousands of data points from the ThreatMetrix Digital Identity Network and data feds from our customers.
  • Actively contribute to build analytics and measure KPIs on content quality by developing big data analytics workflows, using SPARK and other technologies in our Databricks clusters and EMR.
  • Explain complex patterns of behavior using data and models in a simple manner to non-technical audience.
  • Actively contribute to build content improvement methods ingesting and linking content from different sources, using various techniques from machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), taxonomies and linked data.
  • Collaboration with ThreatMetrix teams including Products, Engineering, and your colleagues to continually redefine best practices.
  • Actively contribute to product and operational content strategies by identifying new technical capabilities for big data workflows and content transformation automation. Using visualization tools to communicate analysis will be another key aspect of the work.

Required Skills

  • SQL Server, Redshift, AWS glue , python, tensor flow, pandas any machine learning tools in AWS advantage.
  • Good in understanding different ML models & applications.
  • Good in statistics.
  • Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java solutions, including Java frameworks, including Spring, JSF, and Hibernate.
  • Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Needs to excel in fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Be able to communicate clearly with various stakeholders and explain difficult or sensitive information.

Required Experience

  • Coding experience – SQL, Python (sklearn), R, SAS etc.
  • Experience working with large and small datasets intuitively exposing meaningful correlations.
  • Experience building external and executive reports.
  • Experience in working closely with business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
