Data Scientist / AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist / AI Engineer to work on cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions. You will play a key role in independently delivering impactful data science projects, designing and building ML models, and collaborating with engineering teams to deploy them into production. Ideal candidates have strong Python coding skills, a background in data science, and exposure to modern AI tools such as LLMs and agentic AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data science projects to drive business impact
• Design and build scalable machine learning/statistical models for various business use cases
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models in both real-time and batch environments
• Monitor and evaluate model performance post-deployment
• Partner with key stakeholders to align models with strategic business needs
• Contribute to the research and integration of new AI/ML techniques, including LLMs and agentic systems
• Become a subject matter expert in predictive modeling and AI innovatio

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and data science workflows
• Experience with transformer architectures (e.g., SLM, LLM, VLM, Embedding Models)
• Hands-on experience with Postgres, Redis, and ElasticSearch

Desired Skills:

• Experience in API development and containerization (Docker, Podman)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools, especially:
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Storage
  • CloudSQL
  • VectorSearch
• Practical experience with Git, agile methodologies, and test-driven development (TDD)
• Exposure to building LLM-based applications such as:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
  • Chatbots
  • Agentic AI tools

Education:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
