Data Quality Specialist

Job Location: Nagpur/ Pune.
Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Responsibilities:
• Creating data profiling for the target tables in master database 
• Address the data quality issue found in profiling and present it to onshore team
• Create JIRA stories for the identified data quality issues 
• Creating data quality rules for the targeted data attributes and creating data quality contracts in ETL tools 
• Validate the rules/scorecard in UAT environment and provide the sign off
• Created client data operating model for business 
• Participated in the call with leads for understanding the current business operating model. 
• Created workflows for the business process with representation of Current future state 
• Mapped the data flows based on the business operating model/process workflow shared by onshore team 
• Explained the data flows to the point of contact of corresponding line of business 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be advantageous. 
 8-10 years of proven experience in IT. 
 Strong analytical skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions using specialized data governance tools, Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar. 
 Knowledge of establishing clear data ownership and stewardship responsibilities. 
 Proven experience in designing and implementing data quality assessment processes. 
 Understanding of data security principles and experience implementing data security measures. 
 Knowledge of access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques.
