We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as a Data Governance Specialist / Data Quality Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years of direct experience working with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and metadata management tools such as Informatica Data Catalog.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data quality scorecards, rules, mappings, and exception handling logic using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- Perform data profiling, root cause analysis, and identify patterns and anomalies to proactively resolve data quality issues.
- Partner with stakeholders across business and IT teams to monitor and uphold data quality KPIs and enforce governance protocols.
- Improve organizational confidence in data assets by supporting enterprise-level data visibility and trust initiatives.
- Work with data stewards and data owners to define and implement data governance procedures, standards, and policies.
- Utilize Informatica Data Catalog to manage metadata, ensure data lineage transparency, and document business rules, quality issues, and artifacts for compliance and consistency.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of practical experience designing and implementing solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
- In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, core principles, and established industry standards.
- Practical experience with Informatica Data Catalog or similar tools for managing metadata and data lineage.
- Skilled in executing data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational database systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Preferred Background:
- Previous experience in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, or similar industries.
- Awareness of data privacy laws and compliance frameworks including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Exposure to cloud-based data ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Certifications in Informatica tools or recognized Data Governance frameworks are advantageous
