Data Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the enterprise lake house platform initiative.
   
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to establish project goals, scope, and deliverables.
   
• Create and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
   
• Ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within financial constraints.
   
• Proactively identify project risks and issues, and implement effective solutions as necessary.
   
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and achievements to senior leadership and stakeholders.
   
• Promote a collaborative, results-driven team environment.
   
• Uphold compliance with data governance standards and security policies.
   
• Continuously refine and enhance project management practices and workflows.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
   
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager, ideally in IT or data-centric projects.
   
• Solid knowledge of data lake and data warehouse principles, structures, and tools.
   
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop or Spark.
   
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   
• Proven ability to solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
   
• PMP certification or a comparable project management credential is advantageous.
