Description

  • Develop an understanding of the business environment and use that understanding to provide informed solutions to LDOE for review;
  • Suggest program goals and objectives, aligning them with the organization's strategy;
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget;
  • Escalate risks and issues, providing mitigation strategies as needed;
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met;
  • Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes;
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation and improvements for processes, providing data analysis support for the agency’s workload demands.

  Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

  • Seven (7) plus years of experience in program or project management, preferably in data-related fields;
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior management and stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

  • Experience in data analysis or data science fields;
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI);
  • Experience with advanced Excel/Google Sheet formulas;
  • Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and practices;
  • Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies;
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data management technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
