  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Platform Administrator to support enterprise-wide data platforms and
  • enablement services for analytics users, developers, and business teams in a large, matrixed organization. This role is ideal
  • for someone who enjoys resolving platform-related issues, empowering self-service users, and ensuring the smooth
  • operation of business intelligence tools and data systems.
  • As a liaison between data scientists, analysts, and business users, you will manage and maintain data environments,
  • resolve Tier 1–3 platform issues, and promote data literacy across the organization. You’ll work with tools like Power BI,
  • Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and ThoughtSpot to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for analytics users and developers with platform- or product-related
  • questions or incidents.
  • Monitor and resolve Tier 1–3 data platform issues, including access, connectivity, data refresh, and visualization
  • performance across platforms like Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise analytics platforms. Including user provisioning, project/workbook
  • governance, job scheduling, how-to questions, and usage monitoring.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and support self-service analytics.
  • Support developers in building dashboards by ensuring platform readiness, validating data connections, and
  • advising on performance optimization.
  • Conduct data grooming, validation, and exploration to support business reporting and decision-making.
  • • Provide onboarding, training, and enablement resources to help business users confidently use platform tools
  • within governance frameworks.
  • Assist in documenting data definitions, metadata, and platform usage guidelines.
  • Coordinate to manage platform licensing and usage optimization.
  • Support governance efforts by enforcing workspace naming conventions, permissions models, and lifecycle
  • management practices.
  • Facilitate platform onboarding and enablement through training, user groups, office hours, and internal
  • communications.
  • Partner with infrastructure, InfoSec, and enterprise architecture teams to maintain platform compliance and
  • availability.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base content to help users resolve common issues independently.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in analytics platform administration, enterprise tool support, or data enablement functions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data validation and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and Oracle.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, and marts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and train non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting enterprise BI platforms such as Tableau Server, Tableau Cloud, Alteryx Server, orMicrosoft Fabric.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple business domains (e.g., finance, operations, marketing).
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance, metadata management, and access control.
  • Exposure to agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Background in telecommunications or other consumer-facing industries is a plus
