Data Modeler/ Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred).
• Interpret and write source to target mappings (ETL transformation rules).
• Work with string and data manipulation functions and macros with Microsoft Excel.
• Metadata management and data governance.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries.
• Maintain and interpret data lineages.
• Analyze data to assist with current business needs and objectives.

Required Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL.
• Good knowledge of Data Marts.
• Strong expertise in Data Profiling.
• Senior knowledge of Data Modeling.
• Mastery of Data Quality Analysis.
• Good understanding of relational database modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or Oracle databases as well as some programming experience preferred.

Required Experience

• 3+ years data modeling experience.
• Experience in querying using SQL.
• Business analysis/Data Analysis experience.
• Experience in analyzing data.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
