Data Management Specialist

Responsibilities:

Possess the necessary skills to create and maintain a data management framework that defines roles and responsibilities for data governance and decision-making, ensuring alignment with the enterprise's data objectives and goals.

Responsible for loading and validating data into the data management framework.

Build end-to-end lineage for all data assets within the data management framework.

Investigate data quality-related issues, identify root causes, and develop a solution plan.

Investigate data management platform-related issues and optimize performance.

Possess the skills required to understand the organization’s data and current analytical landscape, including complex data models.

Serve as a database expert, performing environment assessments and optimizing performance to the maximum extent within available resources.

Apply knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices.

Understand data governance practices, including business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assets, as well as data protection approaches.

Be aware of data-related government regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and issues.

Have a clear understanding of core concepts related to analytics and data management.

Monitor usage of the data management platform to identify potential capacity overloads and bottlenecks.

Collaborate with different stakeholders to identify, define, develop, and implement new requirements.

Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks.

(Good to have) Advanced statistical and machine learning knowledge to identify similar data and subsets of data, helping users find the most relevant and trusted data for business needs.

Required Skills:

Data Quality Profiling using SQL (Experience with Teradata is preferred).

DQ Validation and reporting.

Data Quality Management, engaging with internal stakeholders and reflecting requirements on Informatica IDQ.

Good knowledge of Informatica AXON.

Good knowledge of Informatica EDC.

Good knowledge of Informatica IDQ.

Using the Data Governance Operating Model to collect requirements (Actively engaging with SMEs and Data Stewards).
