Job Title:Data Integration Engineer

Location:Remote 

Duration : 3 - 6 month contract 

About the Role

We're looking for a Data Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in modern data platforms and integration tools, combined with working knowledge of legacy PHP applications. You’ll play a key role in modernizing our data infrastructure, building data pipelines, and integrating systems across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data integration pipelines using SnapLogic, connecting data sources, APIs, and Snowflake.

Manage and monitor real-time and batch data replication workflows via Qlik Replicate.

Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models within Snowflake.

Work closely with application developers to integrate legacy PHP applications with new data platforms.

Write scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, or PHP) to automate data tasks and operational workflows.

Optimize data flow, ensure data quality, and support ongoing data operations.

Collaborate with DevOps and data teams to implement best practices around data governance and cloud integration.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, or systems integration.

Proficiency with Snowflake, including schema design and performance optimization.

Strong experience with SnapLogic or a similar iPaaS tool.

Familiarity with Qlik Replicate, CDC concepts, and data replication strategies.

Solid scripting ability in Python, Shell, or similar.

Experience working with or maintaining PHP-based applications.

Understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), and REST/SOAP services.

Comfortable working with both cloud and on-premise environments.

Nice to Have

Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud environments.

Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker), GitOps, or CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with data governance, compliance, or security best practices.
