Data Engineer

Job Description:

Develop innovation strategies, processes and best practices. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects. Support and ensure business objectives being met. Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design. Lead and participate in end-to-end service implementations, data feeds ingestion and orchestration. Design and implement low latency services. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity. Troubleshoot business and production issues. Develop large-scale enterprise-level web applications using Java/J2EE based tech stack. Design and develop web-based enterprise applications using J2EE technologies like Spring, Hibernate. Work with Object Oriented Programming techniques, development, testing, deployment and debugging web applications. Work with Java, J2EE, Javascript, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, REST, SOAP, XML, JUnit, Servlets, Struts, Oracle/SQL, Hadoop, Cassandra, Spring Boot, UNIX, SOA, MySQL, NoSQL, JMS, JDBC, Weblogic, Alation Data Warehouse, Kibana, Grafana, Zookeeper, Cosmos, Kafka, Teradata, Mockito, Elastic search, Datalake, Kubernetes, Intellij Idea, Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer, Offset Explorer, Postman, Github, Jira, ServiceNow, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk, Looper, Lenses, Jenkins, Confluence, Tomcat, Maven.

Minimum Qualification:

Must have Master�s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Will accept Bachelor�s plus 5 years experience in lieu of Master�s. Must have 2 years experience (or 2 years experience as Software Engineer, or related occupation). Must have 2 years experience working with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, REST, SOAP, XML, JUnit, Servlets, JSP, Javascript, Oracle/SQL, UNIX, SOA, Hadoop, Cassandra, MySQL, NoSQL, JMS, JDBC, Weblogic, Alation Data Warehouse, Kibana, Grafana, Zookeeper, Mockito, Jenkins, Confluence, Maven, Tomcat, Kafka, Teradata, Github, Jira. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted.
