Data Engineer

Job Description:

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• This role requires strong collaboration across departments to support data-driven decision-making, perform complex data analysis, and build reliable data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Stay current with emerging data analysis tools and best practices.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role with a strong business orientation.
• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Web development experience (e.g., AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation (e.g., joins, CTEs, subqueries).
• Strong programming skills in Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, seaborn).
• Proven ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.

Should Have:

• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to business domains such as finance, marketing, operations, or sales analytics.
• Knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling is a bonus.
