Data Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Explore & evaluate the technological solutions to meet the need
• Implement solutions for data
• Create & maintain analytics infrastructure such as databases and large scale processing systems
• Building data platform, pipelines, oversee the platform maintenance and support
• Develop prototypes, operationalize and productionize them
• Creation of data-set process for modelling, mining acquisition and verification.
• Work closely with data scientist and business analysts at various phases of development - concept, build, validate, roll-out
• Constantly improve data quality and quantity by leveraging data analytics systems

Specialization & Skills:

• Evaluate viable technological implementation
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering data oriented solutions
• Subject matter expertise in underlying tool-set supporting data platform & pipelines incl. knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in analytical tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Scripting Languages, Python - numerical & statistical computing libraries.
• Adept at communicating verbally & visually within and outside the team
• Familiarity with tools and components of data architecture
