Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and seasoned Data Engineer with a strong emphasis on ETL projects to
bolster our team. The ideal candidate will boast extensive expertise in data warehouse initiatives,
coupled with proficiency in Apache Nifi, PostgreSQL, and either Java or Node JS, along with a solid
grasp of AWS.

The primary role entails designing, crafting, and maintaining ETL processes essential for bolstering
our data infrastructure. As the backend application will be constructed in Node JS, proficiency in this
technology is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to:
 Design, develop, and execute ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data
from diverse sources into our data warehouse.
 Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and translate business
needs into comprehensive technical specifications.
 Enhance ETL processes for enhanced performance and scalability, ensuring optimization at
every stage.
 Uphold data quality and integrity throughout the entirety of the ETL process.
 Identify and swiftly resolve any issues pertaining to data processing and ETL pipelines.
 Remain abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies within the realm of
data engineering, integrating them where applicable to drive continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skillsets:
 Strong experience in Apache NiFi and PostgreSQL
 Experience in ETL tools and processes (Apache NIfi, Spark, Informatica etc).
 Hands on experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL/SQL
 Good exposure to Lambda Architecture
 Hands on experience in programming languages preferably Java or Node.Js.
 Good experience on AWS cloud
