Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large-scale and/or architecturally significant applications.
- Migrate and modernize customer data platforms from Netezza to Databricks.
- Develop robust data pipelines and workflows for the new Customer Platform Analytics system.
- Champion best practices and continuously work to improve software delivery processes.
- Collaborate with application, business, and infrastructure teams to align on requirements and delivery.
- Prepare estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout phases.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Support and maintain applications using Databricks and Netezza technologies.
- Provide technical mentorship and, when required, direct the day-to-day work activities of team members.
- Participate in onsite collaboration with development teams as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Netezza.
- Proven experience setting up new customer data platforms and migration projects.
- Ability to independently manage and execute complex technical tasks.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Strong commitment to customer-centric development and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer data analytics or customer platform engineering.
- Background in retail, customer experience, or marketing analytics environments
