Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large-scale and/or architecturally significant applications.
  • Migrate and modernize customer data platforms from Netezza to Databricks.
  • Develop robust data pipelines and workflows for the new Customer Platform Analytics system.
  • Champion best practices and continuously work to improve software delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with application, business, and infrastructure teams to align on requirements and delivery.
  • Prepare estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout phases.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Support and maintain applications using Databricks and Netezza technologies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and, when required, direct the day-to-day work activities of team members.
  • Participate in onsite collaboration with development teams as needed.


 

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Netezza.
  • Proven experience setting up new customer data platforms and migration projects.
  • Ability to independently manage and execute complex technical tasks.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Strong commitment to customer-centric development and continuous improvement.


 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer data analytics or customer platform engineering.
  • Background in retail, customer experience, or marketing analytics environments
