Data Centre Architect -- Onsite - Santa Clara, CA

iitjobs  is seeking a seasoned Data Centre Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of next-generation data centre infrastructure. This role will focus on aligning data centre strategy with high-performance, low-latency, and scalable storage solutions, supporting both enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications.

Data Centre Architect 

Onsite-Santa Clara, CA (5-day week)

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:-

• Develop scalable and resilient data centre architectures that optimize for performance, energy efficiency, and storage integration.
• Lead the design and layout of server rooms, power distribution, cooling systems, and network topologies.
• Architect storage solutions leveraging Client’s FlashArray™, FlashBlade®, platforms.

Technology Integration:-

• Integrate technologies with third-party infrastructure including compute, networking, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, OpenStack).
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement automation and orchestration frameworks for data centre operations.

Required Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Centre design and architecture, with significant exposure to storage technologies.
• Expertise in Data Centre power, cooling, and space planning.
• Proficiency in Virtualization, containers, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, scripting (Python, Bash), and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
