Job Description

Key responsibilities include

• Designing Data Architecture Creating the blueprint for data storage integration and access across the organization with a focus on scalability security and performance
• RealTime Data Architecture Architecting systems that support realtime data ingestion and processing enabling realtime analytics capabilities
• Technology Stack Selection Evaluating and selecting appropriate Azure services and tools eg Azure Data Factory Fabric Databricks Synapse Analytics to meet data storage processing and reporting needs
• Data Modeling Designing logical and physical data models that reflect the organizations business processes and support analytics and reporting requirements
• Data Security Compliance Ensuring data security privacy and compliance eg GDPR financial regulations are embedded into the architecture

Key Skills

• Technical Expertise Proficiency in Azure cloud services Azure Data Lake Synapse Analytics SQL Database data integration tools Azure Data Factory and realtime data processing architectures
• D365 FO Knowledge Deep understanding of D365 FO data structures entities and integration points to ensure seamless data flow from the D365 FO to data platform
• Data Modeling Expertise in creating both relational and dimensional data models that align with business needs especially in procurement and finance domains
• Data Lakehouse Concepts Experience with implementing a lakehouse architecture which combines the scalability of a data lake with the performance of a data warehouse eg using Azure Synapse Analytics. Also knows how to work with Delta Lake tables
• Security Compliance Knowledge of data security frameworks encryption and compliance requirements particularly in finance and procurement
• Leadership Collaboration Ability to work closely with Data Engineers BI Developers and business stakeholders to ensure the architecture aligns with business goals
