Data Architect

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with extensive experience in data modelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, and the ability to design and implement scalable data architectures that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implement Data Architectures: Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data architectures that are suitable for cloud deployments.
• Data Management: Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of data across various platforms, ensuring policies for data quality and accessibility.
• ETL Processes: Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to handle large volumes of data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Data Security: Implement best practices for data security and privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, processes, and policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
• Data Modelling: Strong understanding of data modelling principles and best practices.
• Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or AWS Glue.
• Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience in designing solutions using cloud-native services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
