Job Description

• Support Sales and Presales in positioning the company’s data capabilities and explain solution and use cases to customers
   
• Design solution, timeline plans, functional requirements and estimations
   
• Present to customer on solution and technical detailing
   
• Work with different platform companies to build solutions
   
• Conduct a thorough evaluation and assessment of our customer current on premises data warehouse platform, to identify key pain points, challenges, business use case, and opportunities for improvement.
   
• Identify data migration requirements and challenges.
   
• Develop & propose a comprehensive migration strategy that outlines the proposed approach, timeline, and potential risks associated with the transition to a target data warehouse or Data Lakes.
   
• Develop a detailed migration strategy and roadmap.
   
• Research and evaluate various cloud data platform options, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-only solutions, to recommend the most suitable technology alignment with customers' business objectives.
   
• The technology recommendation should be based on perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend the most viable technology stack with rationale.
   
• Design high-level architecture blueprints for the new target data platform.
   
• Include data flow diagrams, system interactions, and integration points.
   
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, integration, transformation, pipeline creation, and data mart creation.
   
• Develop a data strategy that defines the organization's data assets, data quality standards, and data usage policies.
   
• Create a detailed migration roadmap outlining the key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements for the successful transition to the Target Data Platform.
   
• Design a robust data governance and security framework to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
   
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
   
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and technical needs.
   
• Should I have understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Agile and DevOps to propose Implementation Timeline.
   

Requirements

• 12+ years in Data analytics, Data Lake and Data warehouse, Visualization domains, the majority of which is in designing and implementing production grade Data engineering, analytics and visualization solutions.
   
• Should have knowledge in at least 2 domains from BFSI/Fin-tech/Manufacturing/Travel/Logistics.
   
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse, data lake solutions and lake house solutions, with a deep understanding of data modeling for OLAP application, ETL processes, analytics and BI applications. Ability to design high-level architecture blueprints for data platforms.
   
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse migration or modernization.
   
• Good understanding of data domain concepts like data ingestion, data governance, data catalog, data classification, data engineering, data analytics and data visualization.
   
• Expertise in evaluating On-Premises, Hybrid and Cloud technology options.
   
• Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, metadata management, and data security measures for Data Warehouse Application.
   
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges related to data migration and cloud adoption.
   
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
   
• Relevant certifications from at least one of 3 Leading Cloud Provider (e.g., AWS or GCP) or certifications in Cloudera, Greenplum, Terradata, Power BI, R, Python and analytics
