Data Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team in Iselin, NJ. This is a 100% onsite role, and we are looking for local candidates only.

As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data strategies, build pipelines, and ensure the integrity and availability of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level data solutions.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using SSIS, SQL, and Python.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to build scalable and reliable data environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data models and governance standards.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in data architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of overall experience in data architecture and related technologies.
• Strong expertise in:
  • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • SQL (complex queries, performance tuning)
  • Python (data manipulation and scripting)
  • Data Pipelines
  • AWS (e.g., Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda)
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to work onsite and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with BI tools and reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of data lake or lakehouse architecture patterns
