Data Architect

The Compliance Specialist will ensure that all data-sharing frameworks and protocols implemented in Snowflake comply with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements. This role focuses on reviewing external data-sharing practices, conducting audits, and integrating compliance requirements into Snowflake’s architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Snowflake-based data-sharing frameworks comply with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.
Conduct compliance views of Snowflake’s external data-sharing processes with regulators, fintech partners, and third-party vendors.
UseSnowflake’sAccessHistoryandObjectTaggingfeaturestomonitor compliance and generate audit-ready reports.
Validate that all data-sharing configurations in Snowflake adhere to data protection laws and encryption requirements.
Collaboratewithgovernanceandsecurityteamstoensureintegrationof compliance requirements into Snowflake’s architecture.
PerformauditsofSnowflake’sSecureViews, DataMasking, and other compliance-related features.
Document external data-sharing workflows and maintain detailed records of compliance activities in Snowflake.
Stay informed about evolving data protection regulations and adjust Snowflake configurations to remain compliant.
9. Support regulatory reporting by leveraging Snowflake’s Data marketplace and sharing capabilities for seamless data access.
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and their implementation in Snowflake.
Experience conducting compliance audits and reviews in a Snowflake-based data-sharing environment.
Familiarity with Snowflake’s Secure Data Sharing, Access History, and Masking Policies.
Strong understanding of legal and data protection requirements(e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
